Quality Technology Training
Get the Knowledge You Need to Succeed
Whether you want to develop specialized skills, train for a new career, or simply improve upon your current skillset, Career Technical Institute (CTI) provides students with the knowledge, hands-on practical experience and employment skills necessary for them to successfully compete in today’s job market.
Expert Instruction
CTI offers out-of-the-box, fun learning methods, powerful learning tools and expert instruction in classroom facilities that contain up-to-date computers. CTI employs qualified instructors with industry experience who are trained to deliver CTI’s curriculum in a standardized manner that best prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet their career objectives.
Instructors utilize a unique training methodology (proficiency-based training) that incorporates various learning styles such as audio, visual, and kinesthetic. Students participate in a combination of “Instructor Led” and “Instructor Facilitated” classes, learning new information in small components and applying the newly-learned concepts into an actual lab exercise. This methodology contributes not only to efficient and complete skill development but to a high degree of retention of new skills and knowledge as well. This training methodology has proven to be the most effective for the adult learner.
Career Services
All students who attend one of CTI’s vocational programs are offered the opportunity to participate in the Career Services Program and to utilize the resources of the department. In addition to the services provided by the department, students are guided by a Career Services staff member in their search for employment and are encouraged to be active participants in the job search process.
