These courses provide hands-on and classroom instruction for in-demand careers in the Healthcare, IT, Hospitality, Human Resources, and Office industries. However, before you begin your first day, we want to ensure you achieve success! BTS Checklist Item #1: Choose a Career to Pursue
A starting point is essential for any good checklist. There are many professions in todays workforce, so picking only one is challenging. When deciding on a career path, you must consider many factors, including salary, job security, and job market outlook. Fortunately, CTI offers training for careers that are constantly growing, both in monetary compensation and in the job market. You can rest easy knowing that your new career choice is a great decision!
BTS Checklist Item #2: Choose the Right College for You
Now that you’ve picked your new career, it is crucial to tackle the next checklist item: finding a school that offers excellent training and courses that work around your schedule. Lucky for you, CTI provides training programs both in-person at our campus and online (except in California). Our in-person classes are conveniently offered throughout the week to accommodate busy schedules. Similarly, students can access our online courses at any time and in almost any place across the world that is suitable to their needs. We also accept up to 49% of eligible college and/or vocational school credits through our transfer credit program. Once you complete this item, you are ready to begin the next task.
BTS Checklist Item #3: Learn What Financial Aid Options are Available for You
Course costs are also essential to consider when looking to begin your new career. For some, paying out-of-pocket is their primary method of paying for their training. However, many cannot afford this opportunity and turn to financial aid and scholarships to help cover these costs. In fact, 84% of students receive some form of financial assistance. Finally, knowing what careers lie ahead for you after graduation is vital. Doing this will reassure you that this new challenge you are pursuing will produce rewarding results. Whether it is submitting applications or finding the right job for you, our team is ready to advise you on the proper steps for career success, and check off this checklist item! We also offer various workshops for current students that cover every aspect of the job process. The skills that students gain during these workshops will increase their chances of obtaining a position with more responsibility in the coming future. No matter the school, it’s important to take advantage of these opportunities so you can take your career to new heights!
Final BTS Checklist Item: Submitting Your Application
Congrats – you’ve completed your checklist! Now it’s time to apply to your school. CTI makes it easy for students to begin their new careers through our three-step application process. The first step is Applying for your desired program during a one-on-one advising session with an Admissions Advisor. Next, you will Submit all Required Documents, such as a High School Diploma or GED and Enrollment Agreement. Lastly, you will Apply for Financial Aid to see what aid you are likely to receive. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. Once all of these steps are complete, your new journey will begin!
