As of May 2021, Career Technical Institute’s IT Professional and Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology programs are available in all states with the exemption of California. Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology

The Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology (AAS IT) curriculum at Career Technical Institute (CTI) prepares students for up to five CompTIA certifications, including IT Fundamentals, A+, Network+, Security+, and Cloud+.

Full-time students can complete the entire degree in as little as 60 weeks, while part-time students can complete CTI’s Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology program in 84 weeks. An Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology is awarded to students after earning 90 credits. Day, evening and online classes are available.

Information Technology Professional Program

The Information Technology Professional program at CTI is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills that will enable them to qualify for a wide range of career opportunities. Graduates from the IT Professional program will have knowledge and skills in CompTIA A+ for computer repair, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cloud Computing, Business Skills, and Employment Skills. Before graduation, eligible students will receive an IT externship to put their skills to work with hands-on experience.

Online and on-campus full-time students can complete the entire certificate in as little as 32 weeks, while part-time students can complete the IT Professional program in 48 weeks. An IT Professional certificate of completion is awarded to students after earning 47 credits.

The IT Professional program matriculates into the Associate Degree of Applied Science in Information Technology (AAS IT), through which a student can widen their career opportunities even more so. Up to 100% of the eligible credits from the IT Professional can be transferred into the AAS IT with Career Technical Institute.
