As the impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) become more widespread, Career Technical Institute (CTI) has been taking steps to mitigate risks in an effort to protect the health of its students, faculty, and visitors. CTI is closely monitoring the coronavirus and its potential impact on our organization. We are following guidance from the CDC, World Health Organization and local health authorities on the status of the virus in the U.S. to ensure we make informed decisions that are right for our community. We want our CTI family to be healthy and safe.

CTI has always taken seriously the cleanliness its location and training equipment. We know this is more important than ever. Aligned with guidance from health authorities, we are implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our facility. Employee well-being is also a top priority. We are encouraging team members to follow health authority best practices like frequent hand washing and staying home if they are feeling ill.

As a reminder, symptoms of the virus are fever, cough, difficulty breathing and pneumonia. To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, please be sure to wash your hands regularly, cover your mouth and nose with your elbow when you cough or sneeze, and avoid close contact with people who have respiratory symptoms such as coughing and sneezing. The health and safety of everyone in the community is a priority.

Our campus and online classes will continue to run as scheduled with all possible care and consideration. We will continue to reach out to you with additional information as it becomes available from the CDC.

Please visit the CTI website or Facebook page for future updates.
